Didn't think this actually can happen but hey. Some people had a drink or two but no one was drunk.
mime statue: *doing his thing*
all of us: Oooh let's take a pic!
all of us: *run to the mime and strike poses*
---- long pause of silence -----
supervisor: hey, where's the camera?
We eventually got a camera and did a retake.

Gah. Can finally start drawing again after these busy busy weeks... then it's about to get busy again next week. Lame.

Finally deleted World of Warcraft from my harddrive. It feels monumental. That was... close to 3-4 years worth of my soul there. I've had a good run with Saisho and Altoholics in all its crazy times and random stress.

This wasn't exactly my last raid since I did get to do the Tournament a few times. I just like this pic. Stargate adventure \o/
That's 4 stargates right there. *dork*

Somebody posted this in ONTD and I just find it entertaining.
You know when you’re falling asleep, and you suddenly get the feeling that you’ve tripped? You’re body lurches forward in an instant, ready to protect you instinctively from injury. You can almost SEE the ground rising to meet you. This occurs when the boundaries between you and the “you” in an alternate universe are weakest.
This is the feeling that happens when another “you” dies.
Apparently my alternate selves live dangerously. I've been 'falling' a lot lately.
They're doing dangerous jobs that at their mid-twenties, they're dying out. lolol

You know you're obsessed when the first thing that came to mind upon seeing this pic from The Vintner's Luck is "zomg Cas and Dean!"
In another life. Because seriously! Just look

Just. omg.
How come I've never heard of this book!
Okay, angels weren't really in my list of interests until Cas. But Xas sounds awesome.

This won't be the same as last year's Ron printed cards though (was it even last year... *can't remember*) since I haven't had the time to draw anything lately. But there's still time, maybe XD
I still have addresses of some people from before, but I'd rather ask again. I have a feeling I lost some mails.
Screening the replies to hide you.

James Jean

He looked pretty normal if it weren't for the horde of assistants who probably had no idea who he was until the day they received the assignment. Honestly. He didn't need the human fence. It's not like he'd be swarmed...well, I'd have taken his arm if I believed that could make me draw better.

Now if only Neil Gaiman would come back and for Jo Chen to actually come here....

This conversation just made me realize that maybe the reason why I've been following Supernatural (well, obviously I've become avid because of Castiel alone) and finally been hooked to actually care outside of the bubble that is Castiel's World... is because so much of the current apocalypse arc had been ripped off Neil Gaiman's books.
Of course my kneejerk reaction as a Gaiman fan is a wtf.
Crowley being Crowley... when a black car wheeled in, I actually expected to see the Bentley. Admittedly, I kept looking for the Bentley throughout that episode.
Anyway, back to the point. There's nothing new under the sun. It's only a matter of being able to pull something different from an existing idea, which is what SPN has done thus far (hello Cas~~~ keep existing). Crowley was just the biggest most obvious ripoff that it makes me wonder if Kripke at least talked to Gaiman or if they're buddy-buddies enough that borrowing Crowley is just that, 'borrowing' or even 'homage' to Neil Gaiman's epicness.
Taking off from Gaiman's (and Pratchett too but I'm not as well read into Prachett books so I wouldn't know if SPN took a lot too) stories as the SPN modus operandi would certainly explain a few things.

When I saw that pic? "HEE!" is the only thing I could think of. Other than the a;djfa;ksldfjkla;sdj;klas;jklfdl;a going on at the cuteness.

I seriously don’t know how to even begin this but I’ll try. This is prompted by
22by7’s post where she mentioned the possibility of Dean and Michael being one in that sense similar to Anna being ‘fallen’ and Gabriel being a ‘runaway angel’. Base concept of this idea is that Dean is Michael, not just Michael’s vessel. Short discussion happened and then there was the lack of Jesus and the Symbolic Jesus-ing came about. And as
luminare_ardua succinctly puts it, Dean + Castiel = Lucifer Kryptonite.

I feel like lightning's going to strike any moment now. That took almost 5 hours to write D: I don't plan to do that again. No new drawings for this week ;_;

I use openCanvas which you can get from portalgraphics.net, except they already removed the English version. Last time I read their news, they said they'd bring it back sometime in November but as of now, I still haven't seen any traces of it.
If you have your old key from the earlier versions, it'd still work actually.
NOW for the alternative programs since oC went down:
Artweaver is similar, which also has event playback like oC and supports PSD files. It also has a free version.
There's also PaintTool SAI which is very similar to oC in terms of feel and layout, but no event playback.
